Sonepar and Klein Tools Donate $8,004 to Bob Woodruff Foundation to Support Veterans

Sonepar and Klein Tools have made a significant contribution of $8,004 to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, marking a pivotal moment in their joint initiative to support veterans. This donation is part of a unique program where a portion of the proceeds from sales of specially designed Klein Tools pliers is allocated to the foundation. The limited-edition lineman's pliers, adorned with an engraved American flag, are a testament to this collaboration and are sold exclusively through Sonepar.

Anne Marie Dougherty, CEO of the Bob Woodruff Foundation, commended the partnership for its vital role in financing crucial services for veterans. Initiated on Veterans Day in 2024, this annual partnership reflects the companies' deep gratitude towards the military community. Bill Mortimer of Sonepar shared his pride in contributing to the foundation's efforts to support military families who have made immense sacrifices for the nation.

Sonepar's dedication to the military community extends beyond this donation, with over 25 partnerships with organizations focused on veterans. These initiatives are aimed at facilitating the integration of veterans, reservists, and military spouses into the workforce, supported by participation in more than 300 veteran-focused recruiting events. The company's Military and Veterans Employee Resource Group (MERGE) plays a crucial role in this endeavor, providing a supportive network and contributing an additional $10,000 to the Bob Woodruff Foundation in 2024.
