Open Hand Atlanta's 22nd Annual Party in the Kitchen Fundraiser to Support Medically Tailored Meals

Open Hand Atlanta is preparing for its 22nd annual Party in the Kitchen fundraiser, a key event in its calendar aimed at supporting the organization's mission to provide nutritious meals to individuals facing chronic illnesses, food insecurity, and social isolation. Scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 25, at The Foundry at Puritan Mill, the evening promises culinary excellence, live music, and auctions, all in the name of a good cause.

The event is co-chaired by celebrated chefs Peter Kaiser and Kevin Rathbun, alongside new co-chairs Marc Castillo, Heather Froy, and Victor Macias. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy signature dishes prepared by some of Atlanta's most esteemed culinary talents, including Terry Koval, Pat Pascarella, Joseph Harrison, and Tyler Haake. Matthew Pieper, CEO of Open Hand, has expressed his appreciation for the chefs' involvement, noting their significant contribution to the organization's community nourishment efforts.

In addition to the main event, a VIP Patron Reception is set to take place on Aug. 21 at the James A. Carlos Family Community Nutrition Center. This exclusive gathering offers sponsors and patron-level guests a firsthand look at the impact of their contributions.
