Kiwanis Club's 43rd Annual Golf Classic Supports Children and Families in Palm Beach County

The Kiwanis Club of Delray Beach will host its 43rd Annual Swing for the Kids Charity Golf Classic on October 18th at Indian Spring Country Club in Boynton Beach, with all proceeds benefiting Achievement Centers for Children & Families and the Delray Beach Kiwanis Foundation. This longstanding event represents a vital fundraising opportunity for programs serving vulnerable children and families throughout Palm Beach County.

The tournament features an 18-hole best ball scramble format with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Participants can compete for a $10,000 hole-in-one cash prize and three additional hole-in-one prizes, along with various on-course competitions including longest drive contests for men and women, closest to the pin challenges on selected par 3 holes, and closest to the line contests. The event will award first and second place team trophies to top-performing groups.

Achievement Centers for Children & Families provides essential services to over 700 local children and families annually from Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and Boca Raton through programs operating at three Delray Beach locations. The organization offers comprehensive Early Learning programs for toddlers and preschoolers, After School programs, Teen services, and Summer Camp programs designed to prepare children for academic and social success while helping them discover their unique talents.

Stephanie Seibel, Chief Executive Officer of Achievement Centers, emphasized the critical importance of the funding generated by this event, stating that the raised funds will make a tangible difference for the children served by their organization. The centers also provide Family Strengthening and Economic Stabilization services that benefit the entire community by stabilizing families in crisis and supporting them as the foundation of their children's healthy development.

The event includes a four-person guaranteed par scramble format, goody bags, range balls, and a BBQ buffet for all participants.
