Palm Beach Symphony's Annual Fête to Fuel Music Education Through Silent Auction

The Palm Beach Symphony has successfully collected a diverse array of silent auction items for its upcoming Ninth Annual Holly Jolly Symphony Fête, with donations ranging from musical instruments and fine jewelry to luxury travel accessories and dining experiences. The collection effort culminated in a gift-gathering party hosted at Palm Beach Design Masters, where more than 50 guests contributed items that will be elegantly displayed during the holiday fundraising event. Event leadership includes Holly Jolly chairs Mary and Will Demory, honorary chairs Carol and Thomas Bruce, vice chairs Dr. Martha Rodriguez and Dr. Jesus Perez-Mendez, and auction chair Marietta Muiña McNulty.

The Holly Jolly Symphony Fête is scheduled for Monday, December 8 beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. Tickets are available for $300 per person through https://palmbeachsymphony.org/support/holly-jolly. Beyond the silent auction, the event will feature a festive lunch, holiday music, and the presentation of the 2025 Instrumental Music Teacher of the Year Award. Major sponsors include FINDLAY Galleries, Palm Beach Design Masters and Private Cask Imports, Inc.

The fundraising significance extends beyond the immediate event, as proceeds support Palm Beach Symphony's comprehensive music education initiatives, particularly the Instrument Donation Program that provides instruments to promising young music students throughout Palm Beach County. Since the program's inception in 2016, the symphony has distributed 944 instruments and more than 3,316 accessories and equipment pieces to local schools. This year's luncheon will include instrument presentations to students, educators, and music programs from Woodlands Middle School, The Conservatory School @ North Palm Beach, and Plumosa School of the Arts.

The educational programs receive additional support from numerous foundations and individual donors, ensuring continued access to musical education for Palm Beach County youth. The gift-gathering party featured festive decorations by designers Joy Jalaeikhoo and Carl Vasile, with catering by SandyJames Fine Food & Productions and musical entertainment by pianist Steven Settle performing classical Christmas songs. The event represents a critical funding source for maintaining and expanding music education opportunities throughout the community.
