Simply Me Photography Project Uses Art to Build Childhood Self-Worth in South Shore Community

The Simply Me community photography project, created by South Shore artist Isabella Ripley, opens with a special evening event on October 22 at The Frame Center Gallery in Hanover. This innovative exhibition pairs professional portraits of children ages 3 to 12 with their own self-portrait drawings, creating what Ripley describes as an imaginative pairing that allows children to see themselves as artists, superstars, and valued community members. The project's core mission focuses on building childhood self-worth through artistic expression, addressing the fundamental need for children to feel recognized and valued within their community.
