Tuscany is the very essence of Italy, with awe-inspiring landscapes, artistic heritage, culinary greatness, excellent wine, and incomparable beauty. Soft rolling hills, lines of cypress trees, endless vineyards, orderly olive groves, picturesque towns, friendly people…simply being here makes you feel like you are in precisely the right spot for a hole-in-one!
You will be in the historical center of the spectacular town of Cortona, known across the world as the inspiration and setting for the book and movie Under the Tuscan Sun. With its medieval charm, Cortona dominates the enchanting landscape of the valley below, framed on the horizon with soft hills and the vast expanse of Lake Trasimeno. Four of you will stay for 7 evenings in a charming 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment in the heart of Cortona, with a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area. The apartment is just steps away from the main square of the town and from everything that you might need during your stay.
When you arrive, the four of you will be welcomed with a classic Italian aperitivo in the hippest wine bar in town, located right on the main square. During your stay, arrangements will be made for 4 of you to play on two of the most beautiful golf courses in all of Central Italy. You will first tee off at Antognolla Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. This is an 18-hole course featuring long, cliff-lined fairways, beautiful water hazards, large and undulating greens with a scenic medieval castle setting the perfect background for a round of golf that you will never forget. Then, on another day, you will head to the gently undulating Perugia Golf Club course for another 18! This is a par 72 course with a lovely clubhouse originating from an old lime kiln from 1921, of which it still maintains the imperious towers that guard the field, recalling old English golf courses. Now, in addition to cultivating your passion for golf, you will also venture into the countryside, to one of the most famous wineries in the region. Here you will enjoy a lovely wine tasting and an amazing lunch for 4 while at the vineyard! This trip to Tuscany is sure to be a “buca in uno”!
The easy and relaxed vibe will capture your heart as you stroll past the countless restaurants, quaint boutiques, artisanal shops, and friendly cafes where you can enjoy an aperitivo while sitting in the main square watching people just like the Italians do. The town is strategically positioned between Florence, Rome, Siena, Assisi, and the wine regions of Montepulciano, Montalcino, and Chianti, making it the perfect base for exploring Tuscany!

Details:
24 months to travel and booking must be made within 6 months of the event date. Subject to availability. A package redemption voucher will be emailed to the winner and will be needed when contacting the concierge department for booking your travel. Airfare is not included unless otherwise noted. All certificates should be handled with care as they are the same as cash and non-refundable. Cannot be resold. Blackout dates are the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year and any other periods indicated within the package description. In the event that the property is booked and subsequently canceled, a rebooking fee will be assessed and paid by the winner. Must be rescheduled more than 3 months out from travel and can only be rebooked one time. Reschedules within 3 months of travel are not allowable.
