The retreat opens to a private backyard with a swimming pool, a hot tub, a sunny terrace with loungers, and a hammock. Heat the barbecue for dinner at the al-fresco table, then linger around the fire pit with a glass of local wine. But the highlight of the grounds might just be the garden and newly planted orchard, where guests are welcome to pick their own produce.
Inside this newly remodeled home are open-concept interiors with a little mid-century flair. Pale wood floors and a neutral color scheme keep the ambiance light and bright, but the living and dining areas are warmed up by a wood-burning stove and plush throws on the dining chairs. The winner has 12 months to book and 24 months to use. Subject to availability. Nights must be used during one stay. Primary guest must be at least 25 years of age.
